On Delta, one personal item and one carry-on are free on all fares, including Basic. For typical domestic U.S. Main / Comfort travel (no status, card, or military waiver), checked bags cost $45 for the 1st and $55 for the 2nd each way, with 3rd+ at $200. A standard checked bag is ≤ 50 lb and ≤ 62 linear inches. Overweight adds +$100 (51–70 lb) or +$200 (71–<100 lb). Oversize 63–80 in adds +$200. Bags ≥ 100 lb or > 80 linear in are not permitted.
