1. Gate bag fee is often much higher than booking. The same carry-on or checked bag can jump when you wait until the airport or gate — buy early online.
2. Oversize + overweight may stack. Confirm stacking language on Frontier’s official pages before budgeting a single combined number.
3. Hard reject lines: bags ≥ 100 lb or over 110 linear inches are not accepted.

5. Bin full after a paid carry-on: Frontier’s bag-options copy has allowed a free gate-check in that case — re-read the official page at travel time.
6. Personal item oversized gets reclassified as a carry-on and picks up carry-on pricing (often worst at the gate).
